The best part of my high school experience has been the large amount of individualized / personalized attention I am able to get from teachers. The teachers truly want the students to succeed and that is Wonderfull. Although one thing I would like to see change would be the academic rigor, which I do not believe matches the schools cost.

I have been enrolled at Winston since the 8th grade and am currently a senior. They are a learning disability based school. The way the teachers work with students on a one-on-one basis is incredible; it has helped so many of my friends and I become ready for college and the rest of our lives. I truly believe I am prepared for my college education. The only real problem is the lack of sports, mostly due to the lack of incentive by the PE teachers.
