I believe it is pretty usual for high school for cliques to form. While this was true for Southeast, there was also a lot of overlap from "clique" to "clique", so while there were groups there was still the overall sense of a high school wide community.

I enjoyed my time there and the teachers for the Honors and AP classes were amazing during my time there. I found that many of teachers would go out of their way to make sure that their students were learning and that they had all of the resources they could provide for success.

My freshman year I got talked down to by other students, it was incredibly degrading. Though those students later went on to have disciplinary infractions and it got better. The best part of my experience is the teachers and how welcoming and supportive they are.

SHS is a well kept secret in Whitfield County. The teachers and staff are caring and know each student by name. The student population numbers are huge and it is the largest HS in the area, but it feels small with loads of 1on1 help for those who want it.
