The teachers truly are what make this school, this school. I could not begin to even tel you about what they have done for me, shaping my future but also my present.

The bus trip to and from the High School can be a bit uncomfortable but overall it is okay. The faculty and staff are for the most part great and can be very helpful and kind. The counselors are helpful and are for the most part easy to get in touch with for schedules and future schooling.

The teachers here are very supportive and will look out for you, but the students are typically very disrespectful and try to vape and do other things that are illegal. The staff constantly pushes the student to achieve better grades and do better no matter what.

I went to Jefferson County schools from 1976-1987 and had a great experience all the way through. As with any school system you have great teachers and a few that are there just to collect a paycheck. I was a graduate of this school and its sad that in the past four years I've heard and experienced nothing but horror stories about how the administration deals with the students. It's sad that the school has declined so much in the past 20 yrs since I graduated here.

My daughter started here a year ago and the staff and students are wonderful. They did great at making her feel welcome and accepted. Yes the school is under construction but all school are always under some construction. They are great at meeting her academic needs also.
