I am currently a junior at DHS. My experience so far has been positive. I am actively enrolled in honors classes and I just got inducted into the National Honor Society as well as the English Honor Society. I am fortunate to have teachers who support and challenge me academically. Beyond the classroom I am a 3rd year soon to be 4 year varsity football cheerleader. Overall school has been a time of growth and has prepared me for my next chapters. Something I would like to see changed is they way some / most of the teachers really push their political agenda on the students. Politics should be presented in a balanced unbiased way. Students should be encouraged to speak their own opinions without having a viewpoint pushed on them. Both my parents and older brother have attended DHS. The school has a strong community feel that I am happy to be a part of.

Overall, my four years at DHS have been great. The faculty and staff at DHS are kind and hardworking. The teachers at DHS provide an environment where all students can achieve success.
