While I have not had the same experience as many of the students at George Washington High due to me being in a program called Governors School, there have been some issues at George Washington High. However, it has been a great school and I would not have wanted to go anywhere else. They have some of the best teachers in Danville, VA and some of the best sports in the region. While every school has its ups and downs, George Washington High is a very good and safe school.

George Washington High School has its good and bad. Academically it is an okay school. The band and orchestra are really nice. The teachers are good. It is just mainly the students that ruin things.

George Washington High School is full of diversity and is always trying to become a better school. They implement new ideas and try to give students the ability to achieve their full potential. The music department is extremely successful and has a positive environment. However, the sports teams may not perform as well as others, they still have plenty of positivity.

There is a school resource officer there, in addition to several private security officers, but the...
