A 5 Star School! This rating system is based on SOL scores. The fact that Stony Mill offers a program for children with special needs surely lowers their average SOL scores. I understand this particular rating system unfortunately looks primarily at (of course) the SOL's. We all know standardized tests, though, are never perfect and rarely fair, therefore I give this school a perfect 5-star rating!
