I like how we eventually got good teachers during my senior year. I wish that we got them earlier and I think that the faculty needs to pay more attention to the students.

I believe some of the teachers did an excellent job teaching the students the academic materials that were required; however, they aren't very approachable. For example, if a student had to ask a question on their homework, the teacher may not help them due to laziness. I feel as though the teachers at DHS could work harder to put their student's academic needs before their own desires.

Almost all of the teachers I had tried very hard to help me and some even opened their schedule if I did not understand something. There are many different class options, though sometimes there are not enough kids signed up for a class to have it. I did not have a lunch period this last semester though.

I had an amazing high school career at DHS. I felt very prepared for college and was able to cultivate my talents while in high school. The teachers are more than willing to stay late to help go over material that may have not been so clear. I have very fond memories of DHS and would not have change...
