My sons, ages 7 (1st grade) and 9 (3rd grade) are excelling at Davenport Ridge Elementary. The teachers are very involved and passionate. Mr. Pisseri (the principal) is very accessible - he will promptly return a phone call and also make himself available for a meeting, if necessary. My one concern is class size. Of all the elementary schools in Stamford, Davenport has the largest student population. Class sizes exceed 20 students in many cases.
