I like that the people in Dawson County High School are so welcoming. They made my first year on the high school campus great. I also love the teachers there and they are able to discipline but are also kind too. A lot of them are role-models to me and I get along with all of them. Something I would like to change about my high school would be to add more AP classes like AP Literature and more diverse AP classes.

Dawson County High School, home of the tigers is an average high school. It is filled with teachers devoted to helping their students reach their highest potential. The classes are challenging and the school district works hard to push the envelope further. Superintendent is dedicated to his students and wants the best amenities and opportunities for them as well.

Over all a good school systems, as with most things, always room for improvement. Knowledge and competent staff pertaining to academics, for the most part. However the "daddy ball" bit in the athletics department is beyond aggravating and a let down to say the least.
