My family recently moved to Dawson County. There isn't a lot of diversity, but this school certinly makes you feel welcome. It's very positive and the learning environment is really nice.

My experience was alright. The teachers could really use some work, and there were way too many fights.

I like that the people in Dawson County High School are so welcoming. They made my first year on the high school campus great. I also love the teachers there and they are able to discipline but are also kind too. A lot of them are role-models to me and I get along with all of them. Something I would like to change about my high school would be to add more AP classes like AP Literature and more diverse AP classes.

2/10: I disliked it here, coming from my old school they had so much more opportunities. This school's very limited class options for an AP student and Fine Art's section, and if you wanna graduate 2 years early its basically impossible, but you can graduate 5-6 months early as a senior. But I will...
