GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience at Dayton high school was good. The teachers helped with anything even if it wasn't related to the subject they taught. The faculty was very nice and helpful. Overall, my experience at Dayton was great I enjoyed all my four years. Most teachers really took their time to show how stuff worked.

My overall experience with Dayton High School has been excellent but in the beginning I had to get accustomed to some new changes since I was in a different area or environment. At first it took me some time to grow comfortable to the school but later on I grew accustomed to it knowing where to go and who to talk to.

Dayton High School was very big on joining extra curricular activities. They were especially big on football and other spots. They focused on keeping kids involved with school. I really enjoyed my time here.
