If you & your child/children enjoy changing elementary schools every other year then this is the district for you. These elementary schools housing only 2 grades each are all overcrowded! WORST SCHOOL EVER . Testing reveals only 21% of students above state standard level. Principal very monotone, and unprofessional. Core curriculum as listed on the district website is not being followed. There is NO accountability at this school. If your child needs extra help don't expect it here. 3...

We have had 5 children that attended Polk. We moved to the district because the school system had good marks overall. I was happy in our first year with the leadership and the teachers. The teachers are the shining stars here, but they have little guidance and support from the principal. After that...

I really like the teachers, each year it seems as though they go out of their way to help my son. For that I am extreamly greatful. Each year my sons grades improve, I attribute that to the teachers. I think Ms. B is such a help in the office for us parents, she goes that extra mile for me anyway.
