Teachers are a bit lackluster and often aren't held accountable. The student voice isn't as well heard as it should be. Science is probably the weakest department in this school, especially of chemistry as it often goes in a broad spectrum of learning which doesn't suit all student needs. The math department is great minus a couple of subjects which you can switch out of if needed. The guidance department is very dependable and the shining star of this school food is good

The best parts of Dedham High are having teachers to help me out when I need it and having friends throughout my four years of being there. The worst was waking up early. What I would like them to change is the time so we can get more sleep.

It was a great experience overall. Minus the fact that they didn't have certain classes I needed for college. I enjoyed being there with my friends especially in my track team as we got to spend time together after school. Teachers were there to help you and that's a plus especially if you struggle academically in certain subjects. Sports were terrible as this school never won in any sport therefore if you join it's only to be involved not to get a benefit out of it.

Limited choices as students. If not in honors or other more advanced classes students are very demotivated, whether it be because of the school or other reasons. But the school does offer you the chance to succeed

I like Dedham High as a school, but the amount offered is limited. If Dedham were to invest more in extracurricular activities and smaller class size, I would give it a higher rating
