Tinora High School has been an overall good experience. However, like other small high schools, there are a lot of "name games." Personally, I have had mediocre experiences due to some of the school boards decisions, such as hires.

The school has recently built new facilities for classrooms, music/theatre, and sports complexes. The community and support is good.

The best parts of my experience at Tinora High School would occur because of the people. There are such kind and caring people at Tinora that really make the experience great. The new athletic director is turning athletics around and the academics are great as it is.

I agree with a review from a few years ago, negative atmosphere from the administrators & some teachers.

The teachers here create a very negative atmosphere. Homework often takes hours to complete, taking away valuable family time.

The teachers I had while attending here were very supportive and my classes prepared me well for college. Class sizes were great for attentiveness and I have amazing memories here. I would have put five stars but I do wish that there were more opportunities available to students.

This is a great school and has so much to offer. I was lucky enough to have graduated from here and am now sending my own kids.
