Being Dekalb high school has been a long journey that I can say will be coming to an end soon. The students are mainly the problem some staff members are rude and I can't go to the library. I don't like it there cant wait to graduate

DeKalb is a school for if you are willing to take a number of advanced classes or be in numerous clubs. In and of itself, the curriculum is very easy. I strongly suggest any new or current students to join and participate in clubs during the school as they have buses that cover every bus stop throughout the entire D428 district specifically for students staying after school.

I never felt safe at Dekalb High School a day in the four years I have attended. I was able to make many great friends and develop relationships with amazing teachers, but the administration and facilities were terrible. I felt that there were very few policies and resources that benefited students. I would love to see administration actually care about their students.

Awful. This school praises kids from mediocrity and does little to award actual accomplishment. I am glad that Covid-19 has allowed me to learn on my own for the most part for the second half of my junior year.

Great programs and teachers. We have had 5 kids educated here and love it.

This school has an amazing music program, and my daughter had a wonderful experience her freshman year.

I'm the parent of a first year DeKalb school student, my daughter just finished her freshman year in the new building. The staff was so much better than I expected. she had great teachers, excellent guidance counsolers, and the curriculum was spot on! The football stadium is nice and the concessions...
