My school is located in rural upstate New York. The teachers and academics are outstanding. I think my teachers prepared me well for what lies ahead. Because we are rural community some of the resources available to us seem slim at times but we have done well with what we have. I wish our community were a little more diverse but location seems to prohibit that.

Delaware Academy is one of the worst Schools in the State. As a former student, I can testify that the Board of Education care more about how their buildings look over proper course study. Completely disgraceful when I went there. Bullies in students and teachers. Hardly any decent programs including sports and very disgusting display of children building gun racks as activities. This school and area is notorious for bomb threats.

i have had two children attend the school. One graduated and one could not take the intimidation so she went to live with her brother out of state and graduated from another school. The one who graduated returned to substitute for one year and then was hired as a "provisional" special-ed teacher. Af...
