My experience was enjoyable. I had ups and downs but for the most part it was a fun experience. The best parts was cheering for basketball and football and spending time with my friends. The worst parts included Covid year. It was tough being at home at first. I am going to miss some of my teachers but not so much the school.

What I like about Surry Schools is that it is a small school so teachers relate to the students and are able to provide one on one help. One thing I would like to see change is the resources in the school. We have an old school so I think we could benefit with some new technology and new buildings.

I love Surry County High School. It has been one of the best experiences of my life, enough that after I graduate I plan to return as a teacher. Its amazing how such a little school can feel like home. Since we have a small school population, everybody's knows everybody and there is very little drama. There are a few things I don't like. I dislike the amount of racial slurs go through the school because of both races, and I don't like some of the student teacher relationships. but, none of these problems are on the school, just the kids who come through the school. I think if one thing needs to happen, we need to have a stricter classroom decorum and harsher punishments.
