It's really not a bad school. It does need a clean up like it's very old so like making it more modernized. If there were more student energy then it would be a better place but it's not bad at all.

Denham Springs High School is one of the best public schools that can be found in Louisiana, but it still has its faults, like some of the teachers and the division on race you can clearly see as you step into the school

I have been going to this school since I was a freshman (our schools are combining soon) and I couldn't imagine going to a different school. I love the teachers and all the friends I have made, and have been able to grow up with some elementary and junior high students. The teachers are so nice and chill (most) and the faculty is pretty cool too, in my personal opinion.

I have had a great experience with all of the AP/dual enrollment/honors courses offered. If you are an advanced student, you will have classmates and teachers who are excited to be there. I hope you or your student has some self-motivation, because your going to need it. My brother dropped out of this school in his sophomore year because he never tried, and I can see why with how little care they show for the individual.
