I have been apart of Dsst: Gvr since 6th grade. I've never had a problem with teachers or admin. Getting closer to being a senior can feel overwhelming due to college and all sorts of things but counselors and teachers are very supportive and helpful with helping students choose their career path. They allow students to be themselves and encourage students to push themselves and put themselves more out there. The school spirit is something that needs to be improved on. The students don't engage with school activities as much due to not having any school spirit. Teachers should find a way to get students excited to go to school.

Some of my favorite parts of school was the community. Everyone is very welcoming and class sizes are small so it's easy to know everyone. The teachers and deans are helpful to some extent, most of the help I received were from other students. I'd love to see better family involvement and support for students. Overall it's a good school.

Overall, my education skyrocketed when I entered DSST: GVR. I accomplished so much never though I would have and I met amazing people to help bring out my academic strengths and to help work on my weaknesses. I loved the teachers and the people I met along the way, it was such a life changing experience for me and I would change it for the world.
