I attended North for 3 years and since covid was present during my high school years, it made my experience a bit different . There's flaws in this school yes but for a school with many kids surprisingly it's not that bad.

I've mainly been in the JROTC program and the volleyball program. I like both, volleyball especially. The school has had some rough patches with safety though some of those issues come with being a city school. Most faculty are good and try to connect with students. However, there isn't much diversity among the teachers.

North High School was overall a great experience for me. North sometimes had trouble with the mitigation of their issues but overall the opportunities, faculty, experiences, and care that was felt by each member of the community is what I believe was necessary for my success as a student.

Lots of opportunities to engage with other families and staff. CSC, coffees with the principal, family events, art shows, theater performances, sporting events, etc. Wonderful and caring staff.
