Overall, a good school in the district. But many things on campus was confusing like all the rules and safety.

Seniors have a hard time getting all the required graduation credits without having to take edgenuity classes. Some teachers are very supportive while others are too strict and harsh.

The most welcoming part of the Mount Rainier High School experience is more than likely the clubs and extracurriculars, such as BSU (black student union) or Jazz band, as they promote a meeting of like-minded individuals. The downsides of Mount Rainier for me is the culture of those who attend, as it seems they are mostly a part of a culture dedicated to shrouded uniformity.

Get in the Advance Placement Classes for 9th & 10th grade & then get out as fast as you can to the Running Start program at Highline CC for 11th & 12th grade. If you can take this path you have a chance of making it. If you stay in the low level classes for 4 years at Mount Rainier HS, you will end...
