Pembroke Academy, a tuition-free public charter school in Detroit, Michigan, teaches kindergarten through eighth grade. Pembroke Academy is a National Heritage Academies member that uses high standards, clear expectations and personalized teaching to help children thrive.

Young children learn about the natural world through hands-on activities like raising butterflies. They connect to their peers through book fairs, talent shows and school carnivals. For athletics, grades three through seven can sign up for soccer, basketball or cheerleading.
