My experience at DeWitt High School has been everything I have expected and more. I could not wait to start as a freshman just a few short years ago. Growing in to myself and as a person in clubs, sports, and activities has been something that has helped me in so many ways. There have been highs and lows of course in my high school experience, but I wouldn't change a thing. The only thing I would like to see change, is more alumni involvement.

This is a community that shines brighter than any other high school. I have transferred to another high school during my freshman year, and the bullying was nonstop. At DeWitt High School, the facility takes bullying seriously and they want what is best for their students. I don't know if I would ever transfer to another high school, because this community of people are nice, friendly, and caring, but sometimes they can be overwhelming.

When I was a freshman at DHS, I left because I absolutely hated it. When I learned of the academic offers I was missing out on I returned for my senior year. I still do not like the environment in the slightest, but they offer excellent academic pathways for the small community.
