GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience all four years of high has not actually been that bad. The worst part I would say is probably how some teachers act or make it seem like that don't want to help. Or even be involved in their students learning, the best part I would say is the teachers that actually listen and show compassion to other students. How they want to be involved not just in your learning nut you life in a positive way. I would like to see more after school learning take place and more teachers actually being involved.

My highschool experience at West Laurens has been extremely different than I would have thought. I expected there to more school events than we had. Many students advocated for a homecoming dance each year, but instead the money would go towards the football program. There were good parts like the homecoming pep rally. Although my senior year, they have decided to choose our dance music for us and not let us have the freedom to create our own dance to our own music.

West Laurens has been an amazing school as far as it goes. Taking honors and AP classes definitely makes it better. There are an abundance of teachers and faculty that are there solely to take care of us, and it feels good to know that we are cared for. Also, I feel like I am getting a quality education at West Laurens because the instructors do not stop at any lengths to teach us.
