GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

New Diana High School is one of the best high schools in the area. There are plenty of opportunities to become involved with the school and students. The staff is excellent and the community that surrounds the school offers support for everyone. One issue I have encountered with the school is the lack of AP and IB classes. My transition from high school classes to college level classes was not easy. I was not adequately prepared for the level of difficulty I encountered in my college classes.

The administration doesn’t care bout the kids. They don’t bother to follow IEPs and are quick to judge a special needs child as disturbed and not worth time or effort.
