I have children that attend DCS and I love the experience and education they get from the school. Their teachers love them and embrace them as their own.

I would describe DCS with one word: "toxic." The students create an environment that destroys the mental state of others. The teachers fail to uplift their students in an academic way. The administration completely ignores the bullying and promotes the inequality of the "special clique"

This school's strong christian background is a plus, but the academic environment wasn't very challenging to me. The small class size also made it hard to receive scholarships based on percentages. For example, the life scholarship is awarded to the top 10% of the class, for us, that was only 2 people.

This school is probably one of the worst private schools in South Carolina. The teachers are not all certified, the classes you learn nothing, over the past 7 years there have been 5 principals. That alone should tell you something about this place. Your kids may say they love it there but it's beca...
