GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Dimmitt High School is one to remember. There is good academics and great community experiences as well. The only major thing that isn't so good is the kids who like to make trouble and they get everyone else in trouble. Even with that said I would say DHS is a great place for school and it prepares you for the future as well as life.

Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner

The effort from the teachers was incredible. throughout my 4 years of high school I've learned so much from a lot of different people who wanted me to succeed. The staff want the students to have a good future so they do their best to influence them. Most schools will just let their students fly by in the classes but not here. However hard you work will determine the grades you get. the most teachers ask from a student is their best effort no matter if its wrong or right.

Very below average...teachers had no investment in their classes and students. I had a better experience at other schools, and parents would move to have their kids attend better schools.
