The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been at Dodson High School since Pre-K and the whole time I have been here it has been a great experience. The thing I think that can be changed is the college preparing. Many seniors that graduate from Dodson High School and go to college say that they don't think that Dodson has prepared them for college like they should have been. This is the only thing I think I would change about Dodson High School though if I could.

Dodson is a small school with dedicated faculty and a friendly environment. My teachers were always very tolerant and understanding of the different needs for each child. The faculty served as a family environment and all the staff are very approachable.

We, here at Dodson H/S, have a nurse on hand at all days of the week that school is in session. Fighting results in immediate detention and on second offense suspension.
My children have went here for 4 years and every year this school disappoints me more and more...The prinicpal is half the time never there ..Most teachers are great and do their job but some however are not..I know I am not the only parent having problems with how this school is ran now...
