The school system tries to include everybody in it's activities. Stewart County High School prioritizes students happiness to create successful people.

I have spent the last 4 years at Stewart County High School. I have met my best friends, and made memories that will last with me forever. I am a 4 year member of the varsity softball team, and my time on the team has been my favorite part about attending this high school. My coach, Ashley Threatt- Thomas, has made a lasting impact on my teammates and I. She is more than a coach to us and has been an amazing role model. As for our other administrators, not so much. As far as college readiness our guidance counselor has been far from helpful, she gives us little to no guidance as far as plans for after college and leaves us to figure it out completely on our own. On the other hand, almost all of my honors teachers, I feel have truly prepared me for college and have really pushed me in the last 4 year of my schooling.

The teachers for the more advanced courses are phenomenal, however the school board lacks competency and accountability. They'd rather put the blame on other school administration than themselves.

I really like the school the teachers are great. They work really hard to help each student and even if it means one on one after school to make sure they pass.
