GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

As a freshman, my first-year experience has been an amazing one. Academics opportunities have been great, sports and activities offered are enjoyable, and general high school environment feels very safe and pleasant. I'm looking forward to the next few years of high school and what I can do at Tri-Valley.

I transferred to Tri-Valley as a sophomore so, going in I thought it would be very hard to start over. But, thanks to so many nice students, teachers, and staff, it was such an easy transition that I am so happy I ended up making. I tell myself all the time that I wish I could've gotten to be at this school longer than I got to be. Tri-Valley has prepared me with the skills that I will need going into college and the workforce that will allow me to succeed. If it hadn't been for some of these teachers that taught me so much, I would not be the person I am today.

Eventhough they are a small school, they consistently outperform the other schools in the county, even the much larger Unit 5 & District 87. Parental involvement is exceptional. While the school district originally serveda rural audience,...

Tri-Valley is not diverse-mostly white/non-Hispanic wealthy families. In an ever growing global world, living and learning in a diverse environment would be of great value to any student. If your child is outstanding in sports Tri-Valley may be a great fit. The music and fine arts programs leave muc...
