The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Teton High School was a little rough as my school didn't really have good funding for the resources they need to provide students with a solid education or teachers with the tools needed to help with their teaching. Although that may seem bad, the student community was really close, so whatever the school failed to provide the students would look after one another to compensate.

Overall I do think that many do the best they can do with what they have. The principle is pretty enthusiastic one time calling it " The best school in the nation". Like most schools, it is pretty underfunded but just cause its underfunded doesn't mean the quality of education is bad. A lot of the teachers I can tell are genuinely passionate about teaching. Although most of the students don't think so it doesn't matter since I don't think I have met students that genuinely want to learn at that level. I do think it can improve perhaps in the way the schedule is set up but other than that I have no other criticisms. I do think the people here do the best they can with the hand they are given.

Teton High School is very willing to work with students and help them do what is best. However, sometimes faculty take it upon themselves to treat some students differently than others simply out of favoritism. Meaning, some students are insulted, yelled at, or failed despite being a decent student. And overall, this high school does not offer students the learning experience they deserve.
