At Dryden High School, your experience is mainly created through your classroom experience and your sports. As I did not participate in sports at this school, I cannot comment on them, but they are a big part of school culture. The arts program here is strong. You will find a lot of students who participate in art, music or anything else that you enjoy. They have clubs in art photography, sustainability, D&D, and many sports teams. The food here is mediocre, but it is based on NYS standards for food safety. There is a salad bar as well as a "deli"(just sandwiches on a shelf. The courses offered here are mostly based on staffing (the school has staffing issues), with the core curriculum, business, and art being the major elective areas. They also have a small culinary program and a small music program with both band and choir. **Overall, the school is great, being mostly rural and having a smaller student body than most schools**

if you are LGBTQ+ this school is hell. staff take little action on bullying reports, and the teachers themselves have been homophobic towards me. i had to transfer freshman year because it was that bad

Teachers are pretty great. Counseling center is totally usless when preparing you for college. Sports have not the best coaches and tend to play a lot of favortism and lack knowledge of the sport.

Dryden school cares more about their appearance. Then they do about the students. They do nothing about bullying. They dont follow their own code of conduct. High authority staff lies.

Parenting children who go to Dryden is a constant battle to get any level of consistency. Administrative turnover at every school in the system is amazing. Every year there is a completely new administration at every school, because no administrator wants to stay. There are no consistent rules, or e...

We had two children in the Dryden School District from K - 12. This small rural school close to Ithaca offers much to students who are interested in earning a quality education. The classes are small, the teachers are caring, and the students all know each other and have close bonds. Students treat...

I have been a student at Dryden central schools for 11 years. Elementary school were the best days of my life, very organized schooling system. Middle/high school.. On the other hand not so pleasant. It is the most asinine school I have ever been in. The way they handle situations is awful. In Dryde...
