My experience at Northview Highschool has been an interesting but valuable nonetheless. When I arrived at Northview, I had just moved and was attending a school from the U.S. for the first time since I moved from Nigeria. The teachers and staff made an effort to help me adjust to the new environment and was a bit lenient when needed. The students at Northview were like any other students, some nice and some not to nice but I still made many friends during my first year. Northview is a school that pushes for excellence in both academics and sports but still understands the importance of extracurriculars and of having a life outside of school.

Northview High School is excellent at academics. Our teachers are knowledgeable and so are the students. This creates a highly competitive environment. Because of this "environment" most students lose sight of why education is necessary and important in the first place. This is my biggest and only complaint with this school. I would like to see a more healthy environment foster at my school.

Northview High School is one of the best public high schools in Georgia, and the experience reflects this statistic. My school provides a variety of extracurricular programs and a variety of academic courses, preparing students for college. Because of this, competition between students is very tough. Overall a very solid school to attend.

This school just makes you want to cheat so you can get good grades because if you don't you'll be seen as stupid. Literally 5% of the school is hispanic (what i am) and all the asians and white kids get all the attention for being "smart". I highly do not recommend this school.

I am at my second year of Northview and have decided to switch schools. The students at this school only care about grades and getting into Ivy League schools. I have even seen kids cry over getting a 98! The students pressure their peers to also score that high, or else they are seen as stupid. The...
