Dumas provides dual credit classes that allow students to be ready for college. The sports at Dumas High school are very good as well. Wrestling and softball being one of the top sports.

Dumas High School has been a simple and easy-going experience. Their classes given to me have fit my expectations and requirements that I hoped of. Another part of the school I really like is that everyone has their own business and things are quiet here for me. The worst part of my experiences are where some students are put into classes with no intention of passing or putting an effort to their education. This leads to some teachers being in tears. I've experienced this because I was in their classes and it really hurt to see her hurt.

Dumas High School was an amazing school and made for some of my best memories during my time there. The teachers were amazing and caring people and who were willing to help in and out of the classroom. The school had many great opportunities for low income students such as a food bank which I thought was very considerate there. The only complain I have about Dumas High School is that they do not prepare the students very well for college. Other than encouraging students to go to the local community college not very many other universities visit or are talked about. Also I have come to find out that the amount of AP or dual credit courses offered there are much less than those offered at other schools.

I have been a student at this school for 2 year starting on my 3rd and so far it has been horrible experience in every way. There are definitely a couple good teachers there but most of them just give out worksheets and homework everyday leaving us students no time to learn about the subject or rest...

Backwards school run by backwards administration. Joke.

This school has low test scores, low resources for disabled students, low advancement rates, high graduation rates due to the principal and counselors filtering students and estimating risk of dropout to turn sudents away.

D-hall for two hours in a town that is backwards to begin with. The principal is a douche bag that once bullied kids as a coach in Amarillo. He thinks he knows what he is doing but no one gave him two freaking hours of d-hall for two hours when he was in high school. Also shelling out the big bucks...
