I started as a Freshman during Covid which was hard but I think they did the best they could for virtual learning. I'd personally like to see more focus on school athletics so we could be in better conferences and compete more as a school. I like the teachers and most of them are always willing to help when you need it.

Dumont Highschool has been overall a great experience however I do have a few grievances with extra curriculars. While at Dumont Highschool, me and many others voiced our opinions for a boys volleyball team which went unanswered with only vague reasons as to how or why the establishment of a new team of a sport that is already played at our high school. Other than that, most other grievances can be overlooked as my time at Dumont High School is nothing to complain about.

Dumont High school is one of the best schools in the state of New Jersey in my opinion. It's supportive and helpful environment is what makes it this. The amount of resources that are at our disposal is amazing to me. The faculty and teachers are amazing as-well. Honestly the only downside would be the food but it's my opinion others would disagree. I'd like to see a change in some of the classrooms because some are too small for the amount of students in the class. Other than that I have no complaints.

My child is a senior at DHS and is excited about starting college this fall yet she often tells me that she will miss her high school teachers. She admires most of her teachers and has excelled particularly in those classes. I feel that she is ready for college and DHS has a big part in this.
