GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It may be a small town, but it presents many opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise. These are things like the ISSDC, knowledge bowl, and FCCLA.

We've had one boy and one girl who were open about their "sexual orientation" and they were accepted. We only have 2 black kids, but they're accepted too.

I really enjoyed the family our school makes. We're all so close-knit and the only bullying is between friends just messing around. Of course there are different groups of people, but we're all close. It was really hard for them to find good teachers; we went through three English teachers my freshman year. The lack of teachers also made it difficult for me to schedule the classes I needed to correspond with my college classes. Overall, however, I love the laid back feeling it has.
