Overall, Philo High-School is a nice school in a calm area- Almost all of the teachers are amazing and willing to help you with anything you need help with. Sometimes the food isn't the best, but you could always bring your own/get a side item. They have a wide variety of classes, so you can almost always find something that falls into the category of what you're interested in/looking for.

The school has many resources available to them, but rarely uses them to better the students in meaningful ways. Sports seem to dominate here like many other schools, and more academic clubs and programs should be fostered.

I went to Philo High School for all four years of my high school career and just graduated this May. I moved here as an incoming freshman. I was welcomed with open arms in to the band program and we took our band to State competition all 4 years. In our last year, we receive the highest rating you can at state judging.

Definitely not the school if you’re looking for any type of diversity. My kids are part of the .4% African American and when I told them as they entered into kindergarten that they would have to work harder to prove themselves because they looked different I wasn’t prepared for them to actually have...

My children attend this school and I am a graduate myself. I could not be more pleased with how my children are taught. Especially the High School. I feel your freshman year either makes or breaks you, and those Freshman teachers go above and beyond to help those kids transition to high school. Kudo...
