GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my freshmen year Covid hit so didn't get a full experience until sophomore year. My overall experience with both online and in person classes was pretty good. A lot of my teachers were always there teaching and emotional wise. The breakfast there was not good but lunches were pretty good for the most part. There were so many different clubs for all types of interest. I was in FFA which was a life changing club for me taught me so much and had the best advisor.

I have had have made many friends throughout my four years at Dunnellon. I have played basketball, volleyball, and softball at Dunnellon. The principal, Mr. Martin and well as other facility members have been very kind and helpful the last four years. The only thing I would change about Dunnellon is to widen the hallways, they are too crowded.

The school is old and rundown, the buildings smell like old moldy curtains. Half the school is portabals that have AC issues and floors that are slowly opening. The school does have some redeeming factors. They have a drone certification program they have the power generation academy they also host...

Definitely not a school for children that are academically advanced, works better for you if your strength is athletics, otherwise you're being held back here.

As a student of DHS, I can tell you that this school is an amazing small school with alot of heart. The teachers and staff are extremely caring and fun as long as a student is understanding that school is school, not free play time. Since it's a small school, the teachers and staff can actually crea...

Dunnellon High is a pathetic excuse as a school. The faculty doesn't care about the students education nor the fact that the staff is very unfair. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone, only thing they have to offer is a diploma with your name on it and you will be lucky if you even get that!
