The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My education at Durand was alright. There were plenty of opportunities to be able to take college credit courses and excel in different areas. Student athletes were also a big aspect of school. What I would like to see changed however would be more opportunities in the Arts, English and Science departments. I feel that our school is lacking there, may it be due to our small size and lack of funding.

Durand High School shows a lot of appreciation for their sports teams. The coaches are great at bringing out the best in the athletes. What I would change about the school is better teacher-student engagement.

Since our school is so small, we have a very limited of clubs and organizations. It's very common for a club to be created and then disappear a few years after. Everyone wants these clubs, but nobody wants to do the work to keep them afloat. It's sad, really.

The students there are very rude and mean. Don't go there if your child/ren have medical condition like an ADHD or any beh...
