I have attended Durant High School all 4 years of my career. Overall, the campus is excellent. The staff is willing to work with you as a student to set you up with the best possible education. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA because of their ability to work with me. I do wish that the sports programs and diversity in clubs were larger. I feel I am limited because of the small selection of opportunities.

I haven't been at Durant for very long but what I do know is with comparison to Texas schools, it might be a little smaller and a lot slower. It fails to offer a lot of what academics you might see at bigger schools but certainly makes up for it in other ways like administrative involvement.

I have truly loved my experience at Durant High School. I have met amazing teachers who push me to be the best version of myself. They don't only care about you in the classroom, but everywhere. The school is superior at raising school spirit for organizations and bringing the school community together. I am forever grateful with my time at Durant and am forever blessed for all the people met.

The school focuses on core subjects with several electives for students to chose from. Technology is large part of the curriculum and can be seen in all areas of study from core subjects to almost all electives! There are many dedicated teachers who go above and beyond to reach the wounded students...
