Durham Academy is such a welcoming community of students who are striving to learn and make an impact in their academic futures. The teachers are all so kind and qualified.

Absolutely amazing from a college prep and academic standpoint. Definitely important to note that mental health is a big issue due to very rigorous academics/expectations. Junior and senior year have college-level amounts of schoolwork and expectations are very high. Despite this, I firmly believe it was the best possible scenario for me, and I came to college VERY well-prepared and with less work and stress than I had at DA.

It's a good education, and they prepare you well for college. HOWEVER, they have so much work to do regarding race and diversity.

Be careful sending your child to this school. They have changed the curriculum and are pushing ideologies on super young children.
