As we enter our fourth year at Durham Academy, we are constantly impressed by the diverse culture, kindness and strong academic teachings that DA provides.

have encountered too many racist, sexist students here to count. there's absolutely no political freedom - everyone is either very far on the left or very far on the right. (most) teachers are great, but really depends on personal preference/how you learn best. however, some teachers clearly do not care for their students or what they are teaching, but they are sparse. the social and academic environment is extremely toxic and if you don't conform to one of the stereotypical high school cliques, you will not fit in here.

I personally didn't enjoy my experience there as many of the teachers didn't care about you and the school is overpriced for what you are getting.

Be careful sending your child to this school. They have changed the curriculum and are pushing ideologies on super young children.
