The size of the school makes safety challenging. There is great diversity in economic status. Students in the advanced/AP/college prep track have better experiences and teachers. Others get left behind. Admin is responsive but lack the resources to support students with extra support needs.

Most of the teachers and staff were great, the problem I had was that there were so many gun threats, kids doing drugs, fights, and a lot of gang activity. I did have a problem with my advisor, she told me my senior year that I could take electives and extra credit classes because I had finished everything, But then she told me 4th quarter that I was missing a required class, so I had to take a crammed version of that class. but overall it was a fine experience.

Overall my experience at Jordan has been good. The best part is definitely the people I've met along the way, peers and teachers alike. The worst parts are definitely associated with the administration staff and some of their unprofessional as well as some of Jordans unnecessary rules and subpar teachers

Day 3 at Jordan High school and I remember why we left public school before. He was told by the counselor to go to the counselor office by Friday to fix his schedule. First period coach won’t let him go that he should go during another class…. so the coach wants my child to leave a core class like m...

Susan Stewart Taylor is the best principals that Jordan has had in years. She took the time and consideration in ensuring the best plan for my child’s success. I am highly appreciative of all she does for our students.

Jordan is a very diverse school and full of opportunities if you want them. The administration is very caring and do their very best to keep kids in school to graduate.
