Jordan High School is a very diverse school. The amount of different people who attend make the experience at Jordan amazing, providing insights on many students. The academics are substantial, a lot of teacher are very passionate about what they do. The sports are above average, having various teams to try out for. The arts programs are exceeding in the orchestra and band section, but lacking in the visual arts section.

The size of the school makes safety challenging. There is great diversity in economic status. Students in the advanced/AP/college prep track have better experiences and teachers. Others get left behind. Admin is responsive but lack the resources to support students with extra support needs.

I would like to see a change in how they administer information to students. There is often a miscommunication between students and staff. Especially for low-income students, they don't always know about all the opportunities and resources provided at my school.

Susan Stewart Taylor is the best principals that Jordan has had in years. She took the time and consideration in ensuring the best plan for my child’s success. I am highly appreciative of all she does for our students.

We have been very happy with this school. A wide variety of AP classes are available; the AP Stats teacher was possibly the best teacher I've ever seen. My child was involved in theater and the bands, and we found the whole arts program to be excellent. The English, history, and foreign language dep...
