Northern has a lot of potential. The teachers care about delivering a good education. The school board has not followed through with school projects.

The quality of teaching is ok, but it could be better. the environment is not the greatest, and has gotten worse over the years that i have been there. I'm the type of student that just focuses on their schoolwork, so I've had an overall great experience because I go for the right reasons.

Northern Durham High school was the best thing I have experienced. Of course like every other high school student I had some short comings during my 4 years in high school but the memories and work ethic are things I will never forget. Northern exposes you to new ideas and allows you to view things from different perspectives.
