Gibson County High School is a small hometown school that wants to do its best with it's students with the resources they have. If you try throughout your time and stay involved, they will put in effort to see you put your best foot forward for your future

The only thing that I would change about Gibson County High School is the diversity. It is a predominantly white high school. This leads to students singling out the minority. However, the classes and college-readiness is exceptional.

The people in this school are like a little family. There are about 500 students, so everybody pretty much knows everybody. We are able to overcome any obstacle together. Even though we might not all have the same social status we are all very respectful to each other for the most part. The education there might not be as great as other high schools, but we still learn what we need to go out into the real world.

GCHS has a great atmosphere and great faculty and teachers. I was in the band (first in state this year) and interpretive history which has greatly helped me in applying for jobs in the field of history.
