The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

East Brunswick High School lacks any compassion when it comes to students, especially if you come in the middle of the year. Students lack control everyone is pushing each other in the hallways no room to breathe. Overall, not the best environment for a minority like me (Hispanic)

I like that we have so many different clubs for every type of person. There are clubs related to art, science, religion, language, and more. I am also glad that we have so many different levels of difficulty in different classes which allows students to take the classes best suited for their needs.

The school is horrible. The teachers are completely stuck up and unhelpful. Schools in the Carolinas are much better. Teachers are much more willing to help. East Brunswick isnt worth it. Look in chapel hill, boone, or manteo the schools are so much better than middlesex county. Ill never move back to east brunswick.
The school does not have one good teacher. I dreaded every day I had to be there. I am becoming a teacher because of how bad the school was, especially the teachers. If you send your kid to this school they will cry every night and hate it just like I did. You have been warned.

Both my kids got a top-notch education at EB high. One is doing her PHD at Harvard and the other is headed for a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. My youngest is on the spectrum and EB high provided all the help he needed to cope.
The East Brunswick school district favors students that can give them high ratings. The school does not have many academic help/tutoring programs for students who do not have the money to afford summer sessions and tutors like most of the upper class people in the nicer parts of town. according to t...
