During the pandemic, the teachers were not able to adapt to the changing situation teaching-wise. As a result, the majority of the students at the school found themselves over loaded with work, behind in attendance, with bad grades. The only reason this school does not have a lower score is for a select few teachers and staff that made the experience bearable.

What I really enjoyed about my school is that it was all about work first before we could have fun. They made sure we were on top of our school work first before any sports were played or any other extracurricular activities were done.

East Chicago Central High School is such a diverse school. The staff there are always on the student side and help them to strive better. The school has a very healthy environment. The clubs and organizations they have at the school help prepare students to be better citizens in society.

Overall my personal experience as a Para Professional was wonderful. I am also a disabled Veteran that will forever be thankful to Dr. Finley and Staff for giving me a chance to be part of a team again.
