Pitkin is a wonderful school. The principal is very involved with the children, she knows the students by name and recognizes the parents of each child. The teachers are very sweet, caring and approachable. They also work really hard to raise money to upgrade equipment and technology in the school....

Pitkin is a great school. The staff is friendly and always goes above and beyond. My children have excelled so much in this school. The students in the school have great pride and are very respectful.

My school is a great school because the teachers are caring and communicate with their parents regularly. The principal is visible and knows every student by name. She knows her students well and my child loves to see her in his classroom. She is always has a smile on her face.

Pitkin is suppose to be one of the better K-6 schools in town but CMT scores are dropping. Classes are crowded, normal class size was 17 kids per teacher but than number has increased. There is no advanced placement testing. The PTA Board is a click and unwelcoming. They run events like Dictators an...
