I transferred to EHHS my Junior year. I chose EHHS because of the teachers and overall inclusive culture. The involvement and commitment of the students and staff played a major role in my decision. There is a small, down home, rural atmosphere that appealed to me. I would love to see more funding for the school. With more resources, I believe EHHS could have a huge positive impact on more students and the community.

I transferred from Hendersonville High to East Hendersonville High for my sophomore year of high school. This school is in my attendance zone. I felt that East was smaller and I would have less competition for grade ranking. What I do not like about East is that they do not offer as many educational opportunities and club opportunities, etc.. I also feel like the guidance dept. needs to be more proactive in helping juniors/seniors seek financial aid/scholarships for students.

Excellent caring teachers. Involved administration. The school functions as a team with teachers, administration, counselors and students all working together. The teachers work hard so every student has an opportunity for success.
