As a alum of EJ, I loved our school! For our size and cities socio-economic status, the school provides the best it can.

East Jordan Middle/High School is a nice place to go to school. It is located in a small community that cares about its kids and supports its school. There is a diverse student body and many community members are involved in the school. It has additional opportunities for students who want information on additional things. It offers dual enrollment with the local community college, North Central Michigan College.

At East Jordan High School I grew and was prepared greatly for college in the areas of English and Science. However, I did not grow greatly in the area of math and struggle with it now in college. East Jordan was a small school and the teachers would always do whatever it took to help you pass. Many of times teachers would come in early or stay late to help you if you needed it.

East jordan has a knowledgeable and caring staff. The teachers work with students to be sure they move in the right direction. There are many opportunities for all students. My children have had a great experience at EJ.

This school district is Full of nepotism. If you’re aTeacher or a Board Member your student will do well. This has been a problem in East Jordan for many years. Worst Superintendent ever. Doesn’t respond in a timely manner.Athletic Director is a Joke. I have already filed a complaint with theMHSAA....

This school is really difficult because i am not allowed to get involved with anything with my kid. He says that this school doesn't offer him enough opportunities for his future life in mathematics.

things aren't going so well in East Jordan. The school board hasn't settled a contract with its teachers for 2 years, and the morale of a group of wonderful teachers is suffering. At school board meetings, the board continues to "talk down" to the community members and ignore their concerns, saying...
