The Bird Middle School has a caring dedicated principal that is there before any other of the staff and she answers the phone. Merritt awards are passed out regularly to the student's. This school is awful I would rate it zero stars but it is not an option. It is not accepting, most of the teachers are disgruntled or incompetent and the french program is awful.

This school first of all is ugly and outdated. There a paper shortage last year as in they could afford to buy more paper for the last month of school. The music program is lacking with incompetent teachers the band teacher is insane and intimidating (half the band ends up quitting) and the chorus t...

I had a great experience at Bird... My daughter transferred from another local community and was new to Bird. She came home each day excited about what she learned. She made some great friends - the very first day - three girls walked home with her from our new neighborhood - they are still friends...
