Floyd Central High school is an incredible school with amazing sports facilities. My time here has been nothing short of amazing. the teachers here create personal connections with each student and bonds that last a lifetime. With good test scores and administration who cares for all programs from our before school prayer group and our media arts programs to our district winning sports teams. Floyd Central will always be a top pic in eastern Kentucky.

The school definitely has a shortage of teachers and/or options for teachers. It's out in the almost middle of nowhere Kentucky, so the chance for diversity is very poor and many of the students are the same in character at times. The safety is questionable with the fact that classes are built with see through walls made of glass windows, but we were given an officer. Even with all of these negative qualities, this is one of the best schools in the district and I truly honestly love my teachers. I've been able to talk with them very easily and the teachers will help with anything. I have had such amazing teachers to where my favorite english teacher was capable of making me understand english and pass my AP Lang exam. I am very grateful for her and I don't believe I could ever go to any other school in this district and be happy.

Many nice teachers, and offers more courses in recent years. The school offers career tracks for a few broad careers, but does not cover all careers.
